Saint Alphonsus readies for Level II Trauma Center re-verification in 2024
BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — According to a recent news release, Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center (SARMC) is in the process of being re-verified as a Level II Trauma Center.
The release says during the recent American College of Surgeons (ACS) re-verification survey, Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center had four documentation and administrative findings. Actions were implemented to resolve the findings, and a re-verification survey is being scheduled for spring 2024.
SARMC says it is still designated as a Level II Trauma Center by the Idaho Time Sensitive Emergency (TSE) System, and clinical services and patient care are not impacted.
"Nothing changes from our clinical standard of exceptional care that is provided as a result," SARMC says in the release. "Our patients and community can continue to feel confident in having access to the highest quality Trauma care available locally."
The Trauma Program at SARMC has been in place for over 15 years.
