Sinclair Broadcast Group anchor Rick Devens stars on Survivor Edge of Extinction
MACON, Ga. -- Survivor returns Wednesday, February 20, and Sinclair Broadcast Group has a rooting interest this season!
Rick Devens is a morning anchor at WGXA, a Sinclair owned station in Macon, Georgia.
Devens says he has been a dedicated Survivor fan since the first season of the show.
After watching the show in high school, Rick applied to be a contestant on the show. Then he applied again. And again. And again, before finally being accepted.
He left a wife, two kids, two rescue dogs and two rescue cats at home to pursue his dream on an island in Fiji.
Now, you can cheer for Rick along with his wife Becca, 4-year-old son Jack and 1-year-old daughter Juliet.
Will the Eagle Scout and Speech Champion have what it takes to outwit, outlast and outplay?
Stick with us all season for special insight and a chance to root on a member of the Sinclair team. Survivor Edge of Extinction premieres tonight at 8 p.m. on CBS.
