Christmas tree permits for Boise National Forest on sale Friday
BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Beginning November 19, Christmas tree permits will be available to purchase from vendors and at Ranger District Offices. Christmas tree cutting is allowed between November 19 - December 25th.

Each Christmas tree permit allows up to 3 trees to be cut per family at $10 per tree. All purchased permits are for personal use and are only valid in the Boise National Forest.
Harvesting a Christmas tree can be a fun adventure, and long time tradition for many in Idaho, however, the USDA reminds people to plan for Winter travel and unplowed roads.
